About Us

Rachel Fischer, LICSW and Pamela Grasso-Lyon, LMHC have been in practice together at this location since 2004.  Both Rachel and Pamela have experience working with adolescents and adults in a variety of settings. They have helped clients work on issues ranging from anxiety, depression, trauma, to grief/loss and other developmental life issues.

PREVIOUS WORK AFFILIATIONS
Rachel worked as an outpatient clinician before being promoted to Clinical Director of the outpatient site of Northeast Behavioral Health (formally Health & Education Services, Inc.) in Salem, MA. Rachel worked as the Clinical Director for 5 years before leaving that position to focus on her private practice.  Worked at Boston University School of Social Work as a Field Education Advisor.

Rachel has a background in Human Resources including employee relations and benefits.  This has given Rachel a unique understanding of challenges employees and employers face in today’s workplace.

Pamela Grasso-Lyon, LMHC is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has over 15 years of experience working with adolescents and adults. She currently provides individual and couples counseling for adults, and her areas of specialty include anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, parenting and life transitions.

Pamela holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from Salem State College. Prior to establishing her private practice in 2002, she worked with adolescents and young adults in residential programs for at-risk youth where she served as both an Executive and Clinical Director.   Additionally, Pamela has worked as an outpatient and school outreach clinician for a community mental health clinic.
